Super Junior adalah mengumpulkan perhatian dengan promosi besar-besaran untuk comeback yang akan datang tersebut.
Dari tanggal 30 Juni, Super Junior telah menayangkan video promosi yang mengumumkan comeback mereka di layar besar tersebar di seluruh daerah yang lebih padat penduduknya di Seoul, seperti Gangnam, Myeongdong dan Gwanghwamun.
Comeback album kelompok, Sexy, Free & Single, mendapat peringkat tinggi di tangga musik segera setelah dirilis pada tanggal 1 Juli, bahkan teratas di chart Soribada.
Super Junior berencana untuk terus mempromosikan album dengan pertunjukan comeback di Mnet Countdown pada tanggal 5 Juli Music Core MBC pada 7 Juli dan SBS Inkigayo pada 8 Juli.
Versi offline dari album ini akan dirilis pada 4 Juli.
MATA Elang International Stadium (MEIS) Ancol menjadi pemberhentian pertama tur Asia MBLAQ: The Blaq% Tour.
Konser yang digelar pada Sabtu (30/6) ini dimulai sekitar pukul 19.20 WIB. Seung Ho, Lee Joon, Thunder, G.O, dan Mir mengawali aksi mereka berturut-turut dengan “Run”, Y”, dan “Try”. MEIS yang berkapasitas 10.000 orang itu tampak lengang karena hanya terisi 30 persen.
Kendati demikian, histeria penonton yang didominasi remaja putri tetap terdengar heboh. Boyband asuhan Rain itu lantas memperkenalkan diri dalam bahasa Indonesia. “Apa kabar? Saya Seung Ho,” ucap sang leader diikuti personel lainnya. “Aku cinta kalian,” ucap ke-5-nya kompak sambil meletakkan tangan di atas kepala, membentuk hati.
Mereka melanjutkan aksi dengan membawakan 2 lagu balada. Selepas itu, masing-masing personel menunjukkan kemampuan solo dan duet mereka. “Cracks of Broken Heart”-nya Eric Bennet dilantunkan apik oleh G.O, dilanjutkan dengan Thunder yang membawakan single solonya “Don’t Go”. Thunder tampak imut mengenakan fedora.
Konser berlanjut dengan penampilan full team MBLAQ. Mereka menyenandungkan “No No No” dan “Cry”, diiringi dengan suara fans yang ikut sing along.
Mir dan G.O lantas membawakan “Wild”. Indonesia menjadi negara pertama yang mendengarkan lagu berirama rancak itu. Mir melanjutkan dengan solo performnya, yang disambung dengan aksi 5 personel membawakan lagu “One Better Day” dan “Good Luv”. Mereka menunjukkan kepiawaian bermain shuffle dance.
Hari yang semakin malam tak menyurutkan semangat penonton. Apalagi saat Lee Joon yang berkata dalam bahasa Inggris: “Saya mencari pacar saya.”
Lee Joon lalu turun ke area festival dan mengajak 1 penonton cewek naik ke panggung. Kehebohan penonton seolah mencapai puncaknya saat fans cewek bernama Anis itu dipersilakan duduk di sofa di atas panggung, lalu Lee Joon membawakan tarian ala balet, sambil perlahan melucuti pakaiannya! Betapa beruntungnya Anis yang mendapat tarian hot dari Lee Joon, sementara teriakan dari bangku penonton semakin kencang.
Seung Ho yang tampil berikutnya memamerkan keahliannya main keyboard dan menari dengan dancer. Ia juga menunjukkan aksi sulap. Saat dalam sekejap jasnya yang berwarna hitam berubah jadi merah. Fantastis.
“Scribble”, “If You Come To My Heart”, “You”, “Stay”, “It’s War”, “Mona Lisa”, dan “Oh Yeah” dibawakan dengan apik oleh MBLAQ.
MBLAQ lalu mengucapkan selamat tinggal. “Kalian senang? Tanya Thunder. G.O menimpali, “waktunya sudah habis.”Penonton merespon dengan “we want more.” MBLAQ lalu mengucap “Senang bertemu kalian!”
Mereka menghilang di balik panggung. Fans terus berteriak. Akhirnya MBLAQ muncul dengan lagu baru yang belum pernah dinyanyikan di mana pun. Setelah lagu “Oh Yeah” dinyanyikan, MBLAQ pun benar-benar mengakhiri konser berdurasi 2 jam lewat itu. Secara umum, konser berlangsung lancar.
